Well Happy New Year to all. I had great plan’s for Christmas blogging and I never did it. I feel like with the season come crazy out of your mind running here and there. I was feeling at time that I was in a cat in the hat show. But I’m back, the kids are in school, the man is working at supper man speed, the mommy and baby are by the fireside each day. I feel all must bad writing it but some one has to stay home with the baby. Glad it’s me…
Back to Christmas time in the Gravlin house, we got a very bad bug. It started the week before Christmas and left the week after but all before New Years Eve. My mom came in from N.B. Canada for a week and we got her for 2 more days. (Love snow storms. ) We had a lot of fun with her and she always make the holidays out of this world fun. Santa found the house and left the north pole. My kids thought it was the best Christmas ever but they say this each year. Daddy had to go plow the day after Christmas. We were glad to have nanny to hang with and new toys to play with from Christmas. I feel a little like the holiday season went fast. We spend New Years eve at our friends house and we had a great time with new and old friends. Thanks guys. Then New Years day Autumn and I went skiing. Yes I was crazy but we had fun and can’t wait to go with the school this week. All and all it was fun and now that it’s almost all picked up and packed away I can’t belive its over. Bug and all we had a great time hope you had a great holiday season and the New Year brings you love and happy times.
Thanks for reading Natasha

Hey guys & gal’s I have been away from the blog for a while. I’m back on my friends and have a lot to get blogging about. First thing first I went on a great trip in Nov with some of the best friends a girl could have. We shopped, laughed enjoyed the mountain view’s and each other’s friendship. I had a sad trip home to Canada as my dearest friend Pam lost her dad Bill. I find these trip’s home are so bittersweet. We had a nice Thanksgiving in New England and enjoyed Peter’s mother, uncle and grandmother. Our ski passes from our home hill came in the mail and we can’t wait to use them soon. Also the tree’s from N.B. Canada come to the area by the truck load’s this make me so happy in my heart to see a bit of Canada here in New England. But must important is that our baby girl Josie turned the big one. She had a great day and is so busy. I have also pulled out the Christmas things and they are up. I will post the house all dressed up over the next few days. It’s good to be back blogging and I can’t wait to share this wonderful time of year with you all. As I set by our tree with the fire going I just want to say thanks for all of you whom read my blog. Till next time stay warm, happy and enjoy this wonderful time of year.

Halloween here and gone…

Last night was Halloween and what a night it was. We had some family over, ate and then hit the big town. It came with a hunted house at the firehouse in downtown. (I think there should have been an age on that…) Not only are our guys funny looking but sick scary. lol… The kids love it and they get to see their friends when getting candy. A win, win… Another nice part of the night was the police car played Halloween songs. The kid’s thought this was one of the best Halloween’s even if we missed the headless horse man on a real horse. Man Halloween when I was growing up was not this big. I LOVE IT… I think the fun was having their cousin come up . Till next Halloween boo. Natasha
The table was fun to get ready. My son had a good time with all the stuff.
I love all the hard work the kids put in to their pumpkins they had a ball and we had the lights on all night.
Road trip and other things…

This pass Monday was Thanksgiving in Canada and I was feeling sad that I couldn’t be at home. So I had two things I could do be sad or hit the road for a road trip. I packed up the kids and we hit the open road for the day and what a day we had. We thought we would go to Vermont to the country store the kids love. On the way we went down roads we thought would lead to fun and guess what it worked. One place we found was a wonderfu farm up on a hill with pumpkins, apples and best of all hay rides. After we left the farm we went to get lunch and hit the road again. Over the big bridge and we were in Vermont. The kids loved the drive the sun was out and it was warm for a fall day. The trees look great the colors were so out of this world. But best of all we were laughing, have fun and not sad about being here and not in Canada. It worked…. Road trips long, short or just to the end of the road you live on are a great way for your family to get out of the same old everyday. Take one today and see where the road leads you all.
The kids loved going over the river to Vermont.
The best thing about the trip was little money was spent for a great day outside and seeing new things.
Enjoy all your road trips to come Natasha.
Looking like Halloween….

We are having a busy weekend again. This time close to home with pumpkin festival and Canadian Thanks-Giving. Our good friends are coming for dinner and there will be movies, food and a few drinks. Oh yah did I say food. The kids wanted to get the Halloween things out before we have them over for dinner. This year I let the kids tell me what and where they wanted things to be ( it was hard but this mommy took one for the team. lol) Here is what we came up with and had so much fun tonight doing this as a family. Not Bad we got it all in place in 30 mins.
The baby was so funny when I was taking photos she just keep one step ahead of mommy. She could get lost in our bathroom it’s the one place in the house were if the door is open she wants in.

I was reading a blog today and saw a great photo with family tree under it. It was a big oak and a little boy laying under it. It got me thinking how cool is that. I thought it would be cool to have a family tree. Autumn said mom we have a family tree its the one out front. Wouldn’t you know it she is right we do have a family tree. We have 3 wonderful big boys in the side yard but out of these 3 there is the granddaddy. It’s a big old mulberry tree it’s older than our house and the house is over 300 yrs old. It is like the gate keeper of the house and it give ‘s the best shade. Yes there are mulberries on it and our little friend Jack (who come’s to visited his grandpa)
LOVE’S them. In the fall in one day it losses its leaves and in a few short days it get’s them back in the spring. I also love that its right outside my bedroom and feels like your living in a tree house. But one thing I don’t like is that it’s the last tree to bloom and ever year I think it’s dead. But not to worry it always come back. So from our family tree to yours till next time, Natasha
A little touch of fall inside.

There are signs of winter all over one big one is fall is under way. The drive-in is closed till next spring and all the wood on truck’s that I passed today when going to get some cool pumpkin’s. These are a few things I did with the pumpkin and more flower shots.
I found this old vintage looking trophy at the shop ( WHITE HOME ) it’s in Wilton N.H. They have the coolest thing’s and fun people. I just put flowers in it and they will dry right like that magic.
I think fall gives us the best thing for decorating. I can’t wait till the bittersweet is ready, should be soon.
I love filling up planter with pumpkins, flowers, hay and what ever else you have from the outside. This is an easy way to make a front step say hello.
The kid’s love putting these on the window for the holiday’s. Hope you enjoyed the photo’s and visit again when I post on Halloween. Till then stay happy. Natasha
